How it Works
Savings doesn't always have to start with a big amount.
Every time you use your TruNorthern Debit Card, the transaction will automatically be rounded up to the next full dollar amount. At the end of each business day, the accumulated amount from each of the transactions
Every time you use your Beacon Credit Union Debit Card, the transaction will automatically be rounded up to the next full dollar amount. At the end of each business day, the accumulated amount from each of the transactions will be transferred from the checking account attached to your debit card to any Ownership Share, Savings Plus or qualifying loan as a single transaction.*
- Debit Card Round Up is free and available to any member with a checking account and an active debit card.
- Spend as you normally would - use your TruNorthern debit card for everyday purchases like grabbing groceries or filling up your gas tank.
Here's the idea:
- Morning coffee: $4.35
- Round up to: $5.00
- Into savings: $.65
It may not seem like a lot, but think about every time you use your debit card in a day. Those extra cents will start piling up.
