BOARD NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
TruNorthern FCU is looking for volunteers who are willing to serve on the Board of Directors.
A volunteer for TNFCU must be an active member in good standing with TruNorthern and have a sincere interest in the credit union and financial welfare of its members. TNFCU volunteers are very much needed and welcomed.
TNFCU follows their bylaws and has certain criteria that must be met to ensure the soundness of the credit union, and that the membership is kept in mind.
QUALIFCATIONS:
Directors should have an understanding of the kinds of problems faced by the typical member of the credit union and be sincerely interested in helping the members help themselves through effective use of the credit union. They should have an understanding of the structure of the credit union, and what the credit union movement is all about.
All members of the Board of Directors will be bonded with TruStage and will sign a confidentiality agreement concerning the credit union and members' information.
From time to time, training will be offered to enhance the knowledge and comfortability of the position that is held. This will be in compliance with the NCUA.
